Health and Care Worker Visa

The Health and Care Worker Visa is a UK immigration route for qualified healthcare professionals from overseas who have a confirmed job offer from a licensed UK health or social care employer. It enables eligible applicants—such as doctors, nurses, care workers, and other health professionals—to work in the UK with benefits including fast-tracked visa processing, reduced application fees, and exemption from the Immigration Health Surcharge. The visa is granted for up to five years, with the option to extend and apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain after five years of continuous residence.
